UFC 185 Weigh-in Results: Dual Championship Fights Get Green Light

UFC 185: Pettis vs. dos Anjos marks the promotion's return to Dallas, and they're doing so in a big way with two title fights at the top of the card. To make it official though, the fighters first had to step on the scale on Friday afternoon.

Considered one of the most exciting fighters in the sport, Anthony Pettis is headlining his first pay-per-view card since winning the lightweight championship from Benson Henderson. That's a lot of pressure with company president Dana White saying that the three previous pay-per-views this year have the UFC off to a record start.

Pettis puts his belt on the line against Rafael dos Anjos, who is on a three-fight winning streak and having won eight of his last nine fights.

There's no drop off to the co-main event with women's strawweight champion Carla Esparza making the first defense of her UFC belt by facing Polish import Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

There is a also a key welterweight fight on the main card, pitting Johny Hendricks against Matt Brown. Both men are trying to get that next shot at the championship currently held by Robbie Lawler, who is slated to first put the belt on the line against Rory MacDonald this summer.
