Portland Trail Blazers guard Wesley Matthews had successful arthroscopic surgery on his left elbow on Wednesday.
The procedure, according to the Oregonian, was needed to remove dead or damaged tissue.
Matthews posted a photo to Instragam following the operation and said it was a "Success."
His recovery time is expected to be less than a month.
Matthews averaged 14.8 points this past season, his third with Portland.
