The Undertaker and the Ultimate Warrior's widow helped the Cavs celebrate on Opening Night

Hey, remember how LeBron James wore a T-shirt bearing the image of the legendary WWE wrestler the Undertaker when the Cleveland Cavaliers were down 3-1 to the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals? And how he wore a T-shirt bearing the image of the legendary WWE wrestler the Ultimate Warrior after the Cavs came back from that deficit to knock off the Warriors and win the first NBA championship in franchise history, as well as Cleveland’s first pro sports title in 52 years?

And how LeBron insisted that he was in no way trolling the Warriors with his T-shirt selection, and how nobody believed that, even one teensy little bit? And how fellow Cavalier champion Kyrie Irving doubled down on the wrestling love this preseason by dubbing himself the Ankletaker?

Joining Taker at the Q were his wife, former WWE Divas champion Michelle McCool, and Dana Warrior, the widow of the late Ultimate Warrior, who joined in presenting Cavs power forward Kevin Love with a celebratory WWE championship belt to add to his collection:

And, in the least surprising news of all time, the Undertaker and Chris “Birdman” Andersen are totally bros:

BDL is working feverishly to confirm the rumor that the Knicks have sought to counteract the Cavs’ wrestling-themed mojo by shuttling Steve Lombardi, better known to WWE fans as “The Brooklyn Brawler,” to Northeast Ohio post-haste. We’ll update you as soon as we learn more.
