Taysom Hill hurdle on TD run rubs salt in Texas's wounds

No David Ash, no Dominic Espinosa, no lots of other guys. Texas was always going to have trouble with BYU, but they've had even more trouble than expected, falling into a 34-0 second half hole.

And in what's commonly known as "insult to injury," here's how BYU quarterback Taysom Hill -- he of the 259 yards rushing in these teams' 2013 meeting -- scored to push the Cougars' lead to 13-0 early in the third quarter:

The good news for Texas, such as it is, is that Tyrone Swoopes hit John Harris for a touchdown late in the third quarter to avoid the Longhorns' first home shutout since 1976. But that is some very thin gruel indeed.
