Steelers release RB Redman

The Pittsburgh Steelers released running back Isaac Redman and activated linebacker Kion Wilson from the practice squad, team officials announced Monday.

Redman, the team's starting running back at the beginning of the regular season, played in three games this season but was inactive for the past three games. He was a starter in the team's season-opening game, but had just 8 yards on seven carries in that contest. For the season he rushed for 12 yards on 10 carries and had four receptions for 14 yards.

Wilson has played in four games this season, including two starts.
