Steelers S Polamalu out for Thursday's game

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu will not play Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans after reaggravating his injured right calf on Sunday.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin made the announcement a day after the Steelers' 16-14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Polamalu left the game in the second quarter and did not return. He had returned to the lineup after missing two games with the same injury.

Polamalu originally sustained the injury during last season's playoffs.

Linebacker LaMarr Woodley injured a hamstring Sunday. Tomlin said the injury is "mild" and he will probably miss Thursday's game as well but would not rule him out.

"We're keeping that door ajar," Tomlin said.
