Free-agent forward Thomas Robinson has agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, league sources told The Vertical.

Robinson, 25, has been working out daily for the Lakers and plans to sign Thursday, sources said. The Lakers have 14 guaranteed salaries – with Yi Jianlian on a strong partial guarantee – giving Robinson an opportunity to make the regular-season roster.

The Lakers also agreed to a deal with 16-year veteran Metta World Peace on Wednesday.

Robinson has played four NBA seasons after leaving Kansas as a junior. He spent the 2015-16 season with the Brooklyn Nets, averaging 4.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 12.9 minutes in 71 games.

Robinson was the No. 5 overall pick in the 2012 draft.
