Sources: Forward Jeff Adrien agrees to one-year deal with Rockets

Free-agent forward Jeff Adrien has agreed to a one-year, league-minimum deal with the Houston Rockets, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Houston coach Kevin McHale has been an advocate of Adrien's rugged inside play. The Rockets signed him, along with center Joey Dorsey, to complement the team's bench strength.

Adrien played with Charlotte and Milwaukee during the 2013-14 season. He has a history with the Rockets and Golden State Warriors, among several stops in Europe.

Adrien has worked his way into becoming an NBA contributor after leaving Connecticut in 2009 as an undrafted player.
