Darby, a junior, hasn't made any official declarations, but he has met with agents in an effort to vet potential representatives, sources said.

The Seminoles face No. 2 Oregon in the Rose Bowl, one of the national playoff semifinals on Jan. 1. It'll be Darby's first game since the ACC championship, where he was knocked out of the contest with an arm injury.

Early media draftnik projections have Darby as a second- or third-round pick. This season, paired opposite standout cornerback P.J. Williams, Darby tallied four pass breakups and 37 total tackles.
