The Orlando Magic are expected to sign free-agent center Dewayne Dedmon to a 10-day contract Monday, a source told Yahoo Sports.
Dedmon is an undrafted rookie out of Southern California.
The 7-foot, 255-pounder played sparingly this season in four games with the Golden State Warriors but averaged 3.4 points and 4.5 rebounds in 11 games with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Dedmon was hopeful of signing a long-term deal with Philadelphia, but no contract was offered after Thursday's trade deadline. The Magic were able to get a roster spot for Dedmon after negotiating a buyout of forward Glen Davis on Thursday.
