Sixers sign Holiday, waive Pargo

The Philadelphia 76ers announced Monday that they signed guard Justin Holiday and waived guard Jeremy Pargo.

Holiday averaged 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.43 steals and 1.17 blocks in 34.7 minutes in 47 games (42 starts) for the Idaho Stampede of the NBA D-League this season.

Pargo averaged 4.9 points, 2.0 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 14.9 minutes in 14 games for the Sixers.

Holiday played in the Belgian League after not being drafted in 2011 out of Washington. He played for the Sixers Summer League team last year and spent the preseason in camp with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Portland Trail Blazers.
