Shock 64, Sun 58
Four players scored in double figures as the Tulsa Shock won back-to-back games for only the second time this season with a 64-58 WNBA victory over the Connecticut Sun on Friday night in Tulsa, Okla.
Glory Johnson collected 14 points and 17 rebounds and Liz Cambage had 13 points and 17 boards for the Shock (5-13). Candice Wiggins and Riquna WIlliams each added 10 points in a game played at Tulsa's BOK Center.
The Sun (4-10) received a team-high 14 points from Allison Hightower, 10 points from Kelsey Griffin and 12 rebounds from Tina Charles.
Tulsa led 13-8 after one quarter, but Connecticut used a 20-14 spurt in the second quarter to claim a 28-27 halftime lead. The Sun also led 44-43 after three quarters before the Shock outscored the Sun 21-14 in the final 10 minutes.
The Shock broke a 52-52 tie with a 3-pointer by Nicole Powell with 4:24 left put Tulsa ahead for good.
Tulsa rookie Skylar Diggins, who missed last Wednesday's 86-59 victory over Seattle with an injury, played more than 14 minutes and scored two points.
Connecticut is at San Antonio on Saturday and Tulsa plays host to Indiana on Sunday.
