Seattle Seahawks Daily Dose of Pain – Thursday, December 8

Your daily dose of the most negative news in the Seattle Seahawks universe: injuries.

The good news is, a lot of guys are on their way back, as almost every player on the roster practiced Thursday. The bad news is, Earl Thomas isn’t one of them. Let’s look at the good stuff, shall we?

Player: Michael Bennett

Defensive End Bennett finished his second straight day of full practice. Did I say good news? I suppose it’s quite likely that Green Bay views this differently; I’m sure Aaron Rodgers would have preferred Bennett was on the bench. In Hawaii, if possible. Anyway – Bennett played just 62 percent of the snaps in last week’s destruction of the Panthers, so he should be ready for a heavier load in a game that demands his presence.

Player: Mike Morgan

Linebacker Morgan participated in a light practice Thursday, after sitting out Wednesday. Morgan played less than a third of the snaps against Carolina, but that was a result of the Hawks switching to a lot of nickel coverage, and resting starters in the blowout. Morgan will no doubt be hungry for another pick, as he had his first career interception versus the Panthers. Quick, somebody break into Aaron Rodgers’ house and steal all his ties.

Players: Damontre Moore, Brandon Williams

Backups Moore and Williams both got into pads for practice on Thursday as well. Defensive end Moore can certainly help keep the pressure on the Packers’ offensive line, while tight end Williams can’t be discounted. After all, his block was key in springing Lockett on his 75 yard touchdown jaunt. Hope Lockett treated him to a nice filet at the Metropolitan- or at least a burger at Dick’s.

Player: Luke Wilson

Tight end Wilson finished his second straight day of full practice too, Sure, he isn’t exactly the threat that the Pokemaster Jimmy Graham is, but he can catch, and can certainly block. With fullback Will Tukuafu still in concussion protocol, his blocking skill may be needed even more against Green Bay.

Player: Will Tukuafu

Hey, we just told you about him, he’s in concussion protocol. We’ll check back on him later this week. Okay, since you’re still here, did you know Will has ten brothers and five sisters? Seriously; unlike many things you’ll see here, I am not making this up. What I want to know is, how does a guy who is one of sixteen kids get to be 280 pounds? Thanksgiving dinners must have been awesome!

Okay, go read another article on Cover 32. We’ll be back Saturday with a final update. Till then, Go Hawks!
