Ryan Leaf arrested for the second time in less than a week

Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf was arrested again on Monday, TMZ reported, and it's the second time he's been taken into custody in less than a week.

Leaf was arrested for burglary, theft and two counts of criminal possession of a dangerous drug in an incident that occurred Sunday in Great Falls, Montana. He was in jail on Monday and scheduled to appear in court Monday afternoon.

On Friday, Leaf had been arrested for stealing prescription drugs from an acquaintance's home. He was freed on $76,000 bond.

He released a statement Friday night:

"I've made some mistakes, and have no excuses. I am using the tools I've learned to move forward rather than backwards, and will be open to talking about the details in the days to come. I am confident that there will be further understanding when the facts are revealed, and feel very blessed for all of the support, especially from my friends and family."
