Raptors waive forward Linas Kleiza

The Toronto Raptors announced that they have waived forward Linas Kleiza and designated him as the team's amnesty player under rules of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

"We thank Linas for his contributions as a Raptor and wish him all the best," said Raptors President and General Manager, Basketball Operations Masai Ujiri.

Kleiza, 6-foot-8, 245 pounds, signed with the Raptors as a free agent July 26, 2010. He appeared in 108 games for Toronto averaging 9.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 22.8 minutes. He had a high of 30 points February 6, 2012 at Washington.

Kleiza played in 20 games last season where he averaged 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 18.8 minutes. He missed 30 games with a sore right knee.
