Rams defense struggles vs. Vikings in Week 1

The Rams defense came up short in Week 1, recording just one sack and no turnovers in the team's 34-6 loss to the Vikings.

Linebackers Jo-Lonn Dunbar and Alec Ogletree split the sack, leaving the Rams' vaunted front four to be shut out in the game. Minnesota quarterback Matt Cassel was able to complete 68 percent of his passes, and the Rams surrendered a long rushing touchdown to wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, though they did do a good job limiting Adrian Peterson to 75 rushing yards on 21 carries. The Rams will hope to bounce back in Week 2 against the Buccaneers.
