Punter Lechler agrees to sign with Texans

Punter Shane Lechler, who spent the past 13 seasons with the Oakland Raiders, has agreed to sign with the Houston Texans, multiple media outlets reported Friday.

Lechler will sign a three-year deal worth $5.5 million with a $1 million signing bonus, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Lechler has been selected to seven Pro Bowls and has been named All-Pro six times.

He is also currently the NFL's all-time leader in career punting average at 47.5 yards per punt.
