Press Box: Pacquiao to fight Rios

Manny Pacquiao, who was knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez in December, will return to the ring to face Brandon Rios this fall, several sources told Yahoo! Sports on Monday.

The fight will take place at the CotaiArena at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel in Macau, China, on Nov. 24, which is Nov. 23 in the United States.

The fighters have both agreed to terms, according to Koncz and Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.

The scheduled 12-round bout will be a welterweight fight with a 147-pound weight limit. It will be televised by HBO PPV.

Rios is 31-1-1. Pacquiao has lost his last two fights and is 54-5-2.

--Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s received good news on his right hand after visiting a hospital following his win over Robert Guerrero on Saturday night, and will be able to fight again Sept. 14 as scheduled.

Mayweather's next opponent hasn't been determined.

---NBC earned a 10.4 overnight Nielsen rating for the race portion of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday from 6-7 p.m. ET, a 16 percent increase from last year and tied with 2010 as the best overnight for the race since 1992.
