Predators recall Mazanec

Goaltender Marek Mazanec was recalled by the Nashville Predators from Milwaukee of the AHL, with goaltender Magnus Hellberg being reassigned to the Admirals.

Mazanec, 22, is 5-0-0 in his first five starts for Milwaukee this season. The 6-4, 197-pound native of Pisek, Czech Republic is in his first season in North America after helping HC Plzen win the Czech Extraliga title a season ago. Mazanec would be only the fourth goaltender in the NHL this season who catches with his right hand when he makes his Predators debut.
