Penguins C Crosby practices with team

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby practiced with his teammates after getting clearance Friday.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that the team practiced a power-play unit of Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, James Neal, Kris Letang and Jarome Iginla.

Crosby has not played since March 30, when a deflected shot broke his jaw. He still has not been cleared to play and is out for Saturday's regular season finale against the Carolina Hurricanes.

"(Returning) is not really up to me," Crosby said. "I'll just keep talking with the doctors. It's something they have to feel comfortable with the healing. As soon as they say the word, I'll be ready to go."
