Patriots Blow Out Dolphins, 41-13
Rob Gronkowski had a big day receiving, leading the way to a lopsided victory for the Patriots over the hapless Dolphins, 41-13, at home.
Tom Brady found the end zone for two scores against the Dolphins on 21 of 35 passing for 287 yards and one pick. Ryan Tannehill went 29 of 47 with 346 yards passing, one touchdown and two picks for the Dolphins.
Jonas Gray ran for 62 yards on 11 carries. Gronkowski was a weapon for the offense, catching three balls for 96 yards with a touchdown.
The New England defensive unit led the way to a victory, giving up 76 yards rushing and 346 passing. They harassed Tannehill and the Dolphins offensive line with an imposing four sacks.
Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace had a productive game with 104 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Jarvis Landry also had a noteworthy performance with 99 receiving yards.
The Patriots travel to East Rutherford next week to meet the Jets (2-11) while the Dolphins are at home to take on the Vikings (6-7).
