Panthers WR LaFell doubful with concussion

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Brandon LaFell is listed as doubtful to play this Sunday against the Washington Redskins because of a concussion, according to the team's website.

LaFell was unable to practice Friday.

"It doesn't (look good for LaFell)," Panthers coach Ron Rivera told Panthers.com on Friday. "We'll see how he is tomorrow, and then we'll go from there."

Louis Murphy, Kealoha Pilares and Armanti Edwards are the candidates to replace LaFell as the No. 2 wideout on the depth chart if he cannot play. David Gettis (hamstring) and rookie Joe Adams may also move up. Gettis could be taken off the physically-unable-to-perform list.
