Panthers force three turnovers in Week 1 win

The Panthers had a field day on Tampa Bay's new-look offense in Week 1, limiting them to only 264 yards of total offense in a 20-14 victory.

The team forced three turnovers, all of which came at hands of Josh McCown. McCown was picked off by Roman Harper and Antoine Cason. Greg Hardy also recovered a fumble off the veteran quarterback. The defense limited McCown to 183 passing yards, with two touchdowns. Barring a 54-yard run by Jorvorskie Lane, the defense also fared well against the run. Carolina limited Tampa Bay to 102 yards on the ground.

The Panthers will host the Lions in Week 2.
