After just two games of being suited up for the Packers, Knile Davis has been released by the team. He had five carries for five yards Sunday’s game against the Falcons.

According to sources the Packers released him in a window of time where they still owed the Chiefs nothing for the trade.

Davis was the least productive runner for the Packers on Sunday, and even with the lack of depth in the Packers backfield it was no surprise that Davis was released.
