Pacers release F-C Armstrong

The Indiana Pacers announced Saturday they released forward-center Hilton Armstrong.

The Pacers' roster is at 14 players.

Armstrong, a first-round draft pick of the New Orleans Hornets in 2006, played there until 2010. He also played with the Sacramento Kings (2010), Houston Rockets (2010), Washington Wizards (2010-11), Atlanta Hawks (2011) and Pacers (2013). He also played in France, Greece and the NBA D-League's Santa Cruz Warriors.

He has NBA career averages of 3.1 points and 2.6 rebounds in 11.8 minutes over 277 games.
