Orioles' Roberts to miss 2-4 weeks

Baltimore Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts will be out two to four weeks while a ruptured tendon in his knee heals.

The injury, which occurred when he was stealing second in the Orioles' win over Tampa Bay on Thursday, is in the back of the knee and won't require surgery, according to the Baltimore Sun.

The 35-year-old Roberts has struggled with injuries, including concussions, since 2009. But he was off to a good start in 2012 before getting hurt, going 5 for 12 with one RBI at the plate after hitting .310 in spring training.

With Roberts out, Ryan Flaherty and Alexi Casilla will take his place at second.
