Orioles bring up Pomeranz, Paulino

The Baltimore Orioles announced that they recalled right-hander Stu Pomeranz and catcher Ronny Paulino from Class AAA Norfolk, optioned catcher Luis Exposito to Norfolk and designated infielder/outfielder Bill Hall for assignment.

Pomeranz has not allowed an earned run in 10 appearances this season in the minors, combining 23 1/3 innings between Norfolk and Class AA Bowie.

Paulino hit .283 in 12 games for Norfolk after getting sent down on May 7. He hit .300 with three RBI in nine games for the Orioles earlier this season.

Exposito hit just .059 in eight games with the Orioles after being recalled from the Tides on May 4.

Hall went batted .286 in just seven at-bats for Baltimore.
