Here is the second grouping in Yahoo! Sports' top 100 player countdown. We're unveiling the top players in groups of 10 each Sunday for 10 weeks.

It's a long way until the first game on Aug. 30. We're trying to make the long wait bearable.

90. C Dalton Freeman, Clemson

Particulars: 6-5/285, Sr.; Pelion (S.C.) High
Buzz: He redshirted as a freshman in 2008, then moved into the starting lineup four games into his redshirt freshman season and has not left. He has good size and strength. Freeman was the All-ACC center last season and will vie for All-America honors this fall as he blocks for what should be one of the most potent offenses in the nation.

89. WR Stedman Bailey, West Virginia

Particulars: 5-10/193, Jr.; Miramar (Fla.) High
Buzz: He is heading into his third season as a starter and again gets to work with QB Geno Smith, who also played with Bailey in high school. Bailey is a big-time deep threat for the Mountaineers; he averaged 17.8 yards per reception on 72 catches last season, and scored 12 touchdowns. He had six games with at least seven catches and had seven 100-yard outings. He had eight catches for 115 yards and a score against LSU last season, and has 16 TD catches in his career.

88. LB Jonathan Brown, Illinois

Particulars: 6-1/235, Jr.; Memphis Christian Brothers
Buzz: Brown was a solid reserve as a true freshman in 2010, then blossomed into one of the best linebackers in the Big Ten last season. He led a strong defense with 108 total tackles and was second in the league with 19.5 tackles for loss, a total that was sixth in the nation. He also had six sacks, four pass breakups, an interception, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. He had a career-high 17 tackles in the Illini's loss to Ohio State.

87. TB Ray Graham, Pittsburgh

Particulars: 5-9/195, Sr.; Elizabeth (N.J.) High
Buzz: Graham ran for 958 yards and nine TDs despite missing the final five games last season with a knee injury. He had four 100-yard games, including two with more than 200 yards, last season. Graham looks as if he will be a great fit in new coach Paul Chryst's pro-set offense. Graham is a rugged inside runner who also possesses a burst around the edge. He's also a dangerous receiver out of the backfield. His brother, Rutgers' Khaseem Greene, is one of the best linebackers in the Big East.

86. CB Johnny Adams, Michigan State

Particulars: 5-11/175, Sr.; Akron (Ohio) Buchtel
Buzz: Adams is heading into his third season as a starter and will team with junior SS Isaiah Lewis to give the Spartans one of the best secondary duos in the nation. Adams had three interceptions and six pass breakups last season, and also made 51 tackles and three sacks. He has eight picks in his career, and his 219 return yards on interceptions ranks fourth in school history. He played extensively as a true freshman in 2008, then redshirted in 2009 because of a shoulder injury.

85. RB John White, Utah

Particulars: 5-8/188, Sr.; Los Angeles Harbor College, preceded by Torrance (Calif.) South
Buzz: White made a big impact last season with the Utes, his first after transferring in from junior college. He set a school single-season record with 1,519 yards, and was third in the nation with a school-record 316 carries (24 per game). White had eight 100-yard games, second-most in school history in a season. He also rushed for 15 touchdowns and caught two TD passes. White was known as "Wolfman" in high school in the L.A. area because of his interest in wolves. Seriously.

84. LB A.J. Klein, Iowa State

Particulars: 6-2/244, Sr.; Kimberly (Wis.) High
Buzz: Klein was the co-defensive player of the year in the Big 12 last season along with Oklahoma DE Frank Alexander. Klein, who will be a three-year starter, has made 228 tackles in the past two seasons, including 116 last season; he also had six pass breakups and an interception return for a TD. He added two sacks, including one of Baylor's Robert Griffin III. Klein had five games with double-digit tackles last season, giving him 12 of those in the past two seasons.

83. OT Alex Hurst, LSU

Particulars: 6-6/340, Sr.; Arlington (Tenn.) High
Buzz: After serving as a backup guard as a redshirt freshman in 2009, Hurst has been a starter at tackle in each of the past two seasons; he was a first-team All-SEC pick last season, when he played every offensive snap in six games. He and Chris Faulk gives LSU one of the best tackle tandems in the nation. Hurst, who was born in the Cayman Islands and grew up in the Memphis area, is an avid squirrel hunter.

82. WR Josh Boyce, TCU

Particulars: 6-0/203, Jr.; Copperas Cove (Texas) High
Buzz: Boyce is a burner who had 61 catches for 998 yards (16.4 yards per catch) and nine touchdowns; he was 2 yards shy of becoming just the second 1,000-yard receiver in school history. He had a huge game in TCU's victory over Boise State last season, torching the Broncos for 163 yards and three TDs on five receptions. Boyce also started as a redshirt freshman in 2010; he is averaging 17.3 yards per catch and has 15 TD receptions in his career. Boyce played high school ball with former Baylor QB Robert Griffin III.

81. OT Ricky Wagner, Wisconsin

Particulars: 6-6/322, Sr.; West Allis (Wis.) Nathan Hale
Buzz: Wagner was a tight end in high school, redshirted in his first season with the Badgers, was a reserve tackle in 2009 and now is heading into his third season as a starter. This will be his second season at left tackle. As with almost all Wisconsin linemen, he is a road-grader and excels at run blocking. Wagner toyed with the idea of turning pro after last season but decided to stay for his senior season.
