Celtics sign Terrence Williams for rest of season

The Boston Celtics have signed guard Terrence Williams for the remainder of the season, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The league-minimum contract also extends to next season, but isn't fully guaranteed. Williams was on a 10-day contract with the Celtics and has appeared in three games, averaging 4.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 14.1 minutes.

Williams, 25, was taken 11th overall in the 2009 NBA draft by the Nets. He also has played for the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and in China.
