Nationals' Strasburg will return to rotation Saturday

Washington Nationals right-handed pitcher Stephen Strasburg has been cleared to return to the Nationals rotation on Saturday against the Marlins, The Washington Post reports. He had been sidelined since Sept. 9 after complaining of forearm tightness.

The 25-year-old Strasburg, who was originally scheduled to return on Thursday, had his start pushed back when he had trouble getting loose on Wednesday. He passed his throwing test on Friday.

Strasburg is 7-9 with an ERA of 2.96 in 28 starts this season. He's thrown a career-high 170 innings.
