Montee Ball totals 89 yards in win vs. Chiefs

Broncos running back Montee Ball rushed for 60 yards on 12 carries and gained 29 yards while catching all three of his targets in his team's 24-17 win over the Chiefs Sunday.

The Broncos had the ball for less than 24 minutes and were held under 50 offensive plays thanks in large part to a 10-minute drive by the Chiefs to open the second half. Otherwise, Ball surely would have seen more work in the second half with the Broncos up. He out-touched backup C.J. Anderson 15-5 in the win.

Ball looked better with the ball against the Chiefs than he did in Week 1, averaging five yards per rush after falling short of three yards per rush in his first game. He faces a tough matchup in Week 3, with the Broncos heading to Seattle for a Super Bowl rematch.
