Mets' Wright hit on helmet

New York Mets third baseman David Wright left Thursday night's game against the Milwaukee Brewers after he was hit on the helmet by a pitch in the third inning.

Wright walked off the field under his own power after a fastball thrown by Brewers right-hander Johnny Hellweg appeared to carom off the back of his helmet. Concussion tests were negative.

Earlier this month, Wright returned to the lineup after sitting out 49 days with a strained hamstring. He is batting .313 with 18 home runs and 57 RBIs in 108 games this season.
