Matt Shoemaker goes four innings Friday

Angels pitcher Matt Shoemaker lasted just four innings Friday against the Twins.

Shoemaker allowed three runs on six hits over four innings. He struck out two and walked three during the outing. Shoemaker only tossed one scoreless inning over the start. A sac fly brought in a run during the first inning. In the second, Shoemaker gave up a leadoff home run to Oswaldo Arcia. He kept Minnesota off the board in the third, but gave up another run in the fourth inning. Shoemaker was pulled after getting out of the inning. He threw 90 pitches. 

Shoemaker left with the game tied, earning the no-decision. He’ll take on the Rangers in his next start.
