Luis Scola, A.J. Price carry Pacers past Bulls

Luis Scola posted his second double-double this season, scoring 21 points and registering 11 rebounds, to help the Indiana Pacers take down the Chicago Bulls, 99-90. This is only the third win for Indiana (4-7) in its last 10 games.

Scola shot 10-12 from the field, in an efficient offensive performance. Solomon Hill also contributed for Indiana, finishing with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Jimmy Butler had another big game for Chicago in the loss, putting up 32 points on 10-17 shooting from the field and 11-14 from the free throw line. Kirk Hinrich added 15 points and seven assists and Pau Gasol finished with 12 points and six rebounds.

The Bulls posted an eFG% of just 44.6%, including 23.5% from 3-point range. This year, they are 0-1 when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Pacers are undefeated (2-0) when holding their opponents to such low percentages.

Coming up, the Pacers take on the Charlotte Bobcats, who are 4-6 on the season. The Bulls match up against the Los Angeles Clippers, currently sitting at 5-3 this year.
