Live Blog: Week 8
Good morning Rotoworlders! We'll take a look ahead here at the inactives and actives for the one o'clock games and then I'll take you through the early games with some NFL action and analysis. Good luck today!

* The Indianapolis Star's Stephen Holder reports the Colts are "leaning toward sitting" Trent Richardson (hamstring) against the Steelers. That would give Dan Herron some deep league appeal, but Ahmad Bradshaw would see an uptick in work.
* Profootballtalk reports A.J. Green (toe) will not play Week 8 against the Ravens, but plans to return Week 9 vs. the Jaguars. Mohamed Sanu remains a good play even against a tough Ravens defense due to volume. Reports that Green won't be 100% are concerning, but if he can play you know he can produce.
* NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Shane Vereen (illness) will play against the Bears. The Bears are hurting at linebacker, which could mean some easy work in the passing game for Vereen.
* Bernard Pierce is a surprise inactive. That's good news for Justin Forsett possibly, but most likely Lorenzo Taliaferro will take over the goal line relief work.
* With Toby Gerhart healthy, Storm Johnson will be a healthy scratch.
* Bryce Brown will be behind starter Anthony Dixon, but this could be a fluid situation based on play.
* Chris Mortensen believes Darren Sproles is unlikely to play.
* Shonn Greene is active, but Bishop Sankey will get the start.
* Jadeveon Clowney is active and looks like he'll come in on passing downs and then see how he feels. Still an upgrade for the Texans against the rookie Zach Mettenberger.

* Percy Harvin starts his tenure as a Jet with a 35 yard kick return.
* Denard Robinson goes 41 yards on a fake reverse.
* Dalton to Sanu for a 48 yard gain.
* Davis to Britt for a 43 yard gain.
* Bryce Brown gets the first carry and goes 6 yards. Dixon the next and goes one yard. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Brown has a ton of talent if he can hang onto the ball.
* Austin Davis to Lance Kendricks from goal line for the TD. He now has four TDs in his last five games and three games in a row. That's all he's good at though.
* Mike Glennon intercepted.
* Miami blocked the Jags FG attempt.
* Kyle Orton connects with Robert Woods for a 22 yard TD.
* Gio Bernard couldn't get in, so Andy Dalton scored from 1 yard.
* Tom Brady hits Rob Gronkowski for a six yard TD.
* Jonas Gray 3 carries for 30 yards on the opening drive.
* Andre Johnson jogging into the locker room.
* Ravens CB Jimmy Smith headed to the locker room to have his left foot looked at. Would help Mohamed Sanu if he's out.
* Andre Johnson back in the game.
* The Ravens rookie TE Gillmore with a 13 yard reception. His first.
* Geno Smith intercepted.
* Austin Davis picked off.
* Justin Forsett with an 8 yard reception, his first after getting no targets the last two weeks. Hopefully Daniels being out will help him see a few more.
* Amazing catch by Michael Campanaro for the Ravens on 3rd down. Ravens now near the goal line.
* Jonas Gray: Four touches. Shane Vereen: Zero touches.
* Geno Smith intercepted again.
* Ravens go for it on 4th and goal and are stopped.
* Jonas Gray now up to 6 carries for 43 yards.
* Percy Harvin goes to the locker room.
* Brady stopped on a QB sneak at the goal line. 3rd and goal.
* Geno Smith throws another pick. Bills ball at the Jets one yard line. (under review)
* Gray, Brady and Vereen all get a shot near goal line and come up empty. 4th down. Patriots going for it, but called for a false start and they'll kick the FG.
* Kyle Orton throws his second TD, this one to Lee Smith.
* Patriots RB snaps through 2 drives: Jonas Gray 13, Shane Vereen 9.
* Harvin back in on special teams.
* Michael Vick in at quarterback for the Jets.
* Blake Bortles pick sixed from inside the red zone.
* Return for Jimmy Smith is considered unlikely due to left foot sprain.
* Jamaal Charles gets in with a one yard run.
* Hauschka hits a 58 yard FG.
* Brian Quick hurting.
* James White in at running back for the Patriots.
* Tim Wright catches the one yard TD after Gronk gets them own there. Sad Trombone for Gronk owners.
* Chris Ivory runs it in from two yards out for the TD. Michael Vick not throwing three interceptions in the first quarter.
* Zac Stacy getting work now.
* The Panthers have 19 rushing attempts to the Seahawks 2.
* Sammy Watkins has an 84 catch and run, but celebrates a bit too early and is tripped up at the 5.
* Cam Newton fumbles.
* Frank Summers scores on a two yard run to save Sammy Watkins.
* Jamaal Charles fumbles. Rams have the ball in the red zone.
* Jay Cutler makes a nice pass to Matt Forte for a 25 yard TD.
* Arian Foster runs in a touchdown for 34 yards.
* Travis Kelce up to four receptions for 45 yards. Good to see him getting usage.
* Russell Wilson at no rushing yards and 35 passing yards.
* Gronkowski already at 7 receptions for 101 yards and a TD.
* Russell Wilson intercepted at the goal line.
* Blake Bortles fumbles.
* Mettenberger intercepted.
* Rob Gronkowski catches his second TD of the day. This one a 2 yarder.
* Michael Vick fumbles.
* 7 carries for 28 yards for Sankey and Greene is without a carry.
* Running back touches for STL: Tre Mason 4, Zac Stacy 4, Benny Cunningham 3.
* Miami currently has 2 first downs and 38 total yards with less than 2 minutes left in the half.
* Julian Edelman returns a punt into the red zone then Brady hits LaFell for the 9 yard TD. Brady now has 4 TD passes in the first half.
* The Patriots now have scored three touchdowns in less than a minute. Rob Ninkovich returns a Cutler fumble for a TD.
* Knile Davis returns a kick 99 yards for a TD.
* Cam Newton picked off.
* Chris Ivory scores his second two yard touchdown.
* Joe Flacco intercepted.
* The Bears give up a team record 38 points by halftime, but Matt Forte has 105 total yards and a TD. He's good.
* Darren Sproles is inactive.
* Gio Bernard runs in a TD from the one yard line.
* J.J. Watt causes a Mettenberger fumble and Jamison recovers for the Texans. Not the easiest team to start your career against.
* 12 carries for the Rams, two for Cunningham and Austin. Stacy has three. Mason has five.
* Arian Foster scores his second TD. This a 5 yard reception.
* Blake Bortles throws another pick-six.
* Rob Gronkowski scores his third TD of the game, this one a 46 yarder.
* Torrey Smith is being treated for a concussion. WR Michael Campanaro has a hamstring injury and won't return.
* Trent Richardson is ACTIVE despite initial speculation.
* Gronk goes to the locker room.
* Taliaferro rushes for a 10 yard TD. Forsett owners shower cry.
* Forsett does get in for the 2 point conversion.
* Arian Foster makes an amazing cut and goes 43 yards to the goal line and then gets in from the one yard line for his 3rd TD of the day.
* Rob Gronkowski had dehydration and his return is questionable.
* Doug Martin has an ankle injury. His return is questionable.
* Jay Cutler hits Martellus Bennett for a 20 yard TD. Bennett makes an incredible catch.
* Rishard Matthews catches a 3 yard TD.
* Jerick McKinnon has 15 carries for 82 yards.
* DeAndre Hopkins at 5 receptions for 95 yards.
* Cordarrelle Patterson getting some work this game with 5 receptions for 74 yards and one carry for 10 yards.
* Kelvin Benjamin catches a 51 yard pass between Sherman and Thomas.
* Jamaal Charles rushes in for a 36 yard TD, his second of the day.
* Mike Evans makes a nice one handed catch for 40 yards.
* Mike Vick fumbles again. Buffalo recovers.
* Andy Dalton fumbles and the Ravens have the ball in the red zone.
* Taliaferro scores his second TD to put the Ravens up 21-20.
* Gio Bernard has a hip injury and his return is questionable.
* Michael Vick intercepted, so that's three turnovers to match Geno Smith now.
* Dalton intercepted after ball ripped from Sanu's hands into the air.
* Finally a TD in that Seattle/Carolina game. Wilson throws a 23 yard TD to TE Luke "Don't call me Hansel" Willson.
* Jay Cutler hits Alshon Jeffery for a 10 yard TD.
* Kyle Orton throws his 3rd TD of the game, this one a 12 yarder to Scott Chandler.
* Matt Forte converts the 2 point conversion. He's at 168 total yards and a touchdown.
* Knile Davis gets in from the 3 yard line. The battle of Missouri is over.
* Mike Glennon passes to Austin Seferian-Jenkins for a 7 yard TD with 2:02 left. Bucs up 13-10.
* Brandon LaFell having a huge game with 11 receptions for 124 yards and a TD.
* Andy Dalton QB sneaks his second TD of the day in to put his team up 27-24 wth less than a minute remaining.
* Sammy Watkins catches a 61 yard TD and doesn't get tackled while celebrating this time. Orton with 4 TDs.
* Justin Hunter helps his fantasy owners with a 12 yard TD.
* Allen Robinson catches a 48 yard TD from Bortles. He has 5 receptions for 82 yards and that TD.
* Teddy Bridgewater leads his team down for the game tying FG to go into overtime.
* Michael Vick with another pick. The Jets have 7 turnovers now. It's a clown show. UPDATE: The pick was overturned, but it's still pretty clown-like.
* Mettenberger ended up with some decent garbage time points with 299 yards, 2 TDs and 1 interception. Not great, but worthwhile in 2QB leagues.
* Austin Seferian-Jenkins catches the first pass in OT and promptly fumbles and it's returned for a TD, Bucs lose.
* Patriots RB snaps today: Shane Vereen 33, Jonas Gray 29, James White 12.
* Delanie Walker tied with Gronk to lead all tight ends in targets today with Mettenberger throwing the ball 41 times. He ended up catching 4 of 9 for 37 yards and a TD while Gronk caught 9 of 9 for 139 yards and three TDs.
* The Bills running backs didn't do much against the Jets tough run D with Dixon rushing 20 times for 38 yards and Bryce Brown ran the ball 7 times for 15 yards and saw three targets with no receptions.
* Foles hits Maclin for a 21 yard TD.
* Matt Schaub throws an interception on a fake FG. That's his first pass as a Raider.
* Cordarrelle Patterson had 12 targets after seeing a high of 8 through the first 7 games.
* Brandon LaFell, Rob Gronkowski, and Tim Wright caught every target their way: 27 receptions on 27 targets for 334 yards and 5 TDs.
* Andre Ellington runs in a goal line TD. This is good news after being vultured by Taylor last week.
* Matt Forte had another good receiving day with 6 receptions on on 8 targets for 54 yards and a touchdown. He now has 58 receptions on the season and is on pace for 116 receptions for 980 yards and 6 TDs.
