Lions are bringing back Dominic Raiola
The Lions will bring back center Dominic Raiola for the 2014 season, according to a report from the Detroit Free Press.
The report states that Raiola and the Lions have agreed to a one-year deal that will exceed the league minimum for veterans. Raiola arguably had one of his best seasons on the field.
However, an off-the-field incident did stain his 2013 campaign. Raiola hurled insults, which included the use of homophobic slurs, at the University of Wisconsin marching band during a game against the Packers at Lambeau Field. He did apologize for his behavior later.
