Lightning recall Johnson

The Tampa Bay Lightning recalled forward Tyler Johnson from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced Thursday.

The 22-year-old has scored a league-leading 31 goals in 59 games this season with the Crunch. He scored 11 of those goals on the power play and has six multi-goal games.

Johnson originally signed with the Lightning as a free agent on March 7, 2011.
