Leafs' Reimer injured 32 seconds into game

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender James Reimer exited Thursday night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes after 32 seconds when he collided with teammate Josh Leivo.

Reimer was trying to cover a rebound when Leivo appeared to make contact with the goalie's head. Reimer was down on the ice for several minutes before getting up and skating to the locker room with assistance.

The 25-year-old Reimer was making his second straight start and playing in his fourth game of the season. He was replaced by Jonathan Bernier.

Reimer, who has a history of concussions, left with one save.
