The Jake Peavy-Dee Gordon rivalry seems to be, um, heating up
Veteran right-hander Jake Peavy has been exceptional since being acquired by the Giants leading up to the non-waiver trade deadline (2.16 ERA, 3.92 K/BB in 10 starts), and he's already looking forward to his next trip to the bump. Said outing is slated for Monday against the NL West-leading Dodgers.
Regarding those Dodgers and their productive lead-off hitter, Dee Gordon, Peavy has -- shall we say -- been entertaining germane thoughts.
