Jaguars Blasted by Colts, 23-3
The Jaguars turned it over two times, managed only 194 yards of offense and were destroyed by the Colts, 23-3, at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Blake Bortles went without a score on 15 for 27 passing for only 146 yards and one pick. Andrew Luck completed 21 of 32 passes for 253 yards, one touchdown and two fumbles for the Colts.
Toby Gerhart ran for 31 yards on four attempts in addition to three receptions for 19 yards. Marqise Lee snagged three passes for 52 yards.
The Jacksonville defense stood its ground in the loss, giving up 175 yards rushing and 253 passing. They manhandled Luck with five sacks.
Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton was impressive, churning out 122 receiving yards, 15 rushing and one touchdown. Running back Dan Herron also performed well with 65 rushing yards and 31 receiving.
The Jaguars are at home to take on the Giants (3-7) next week while the Colts will meet the Redskins (3-7), also at home.
