Heat sign Howard to another 10-day contract

The Miami Heat signed forward Juwan Howard to a second 10-day contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Howard was previously signed March 2, but didn't appear in a game during his first stint. He has appeared in 85 games with the Heat during the past two seasons, averaging 2.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 9.2 minutes a game. He also appeared in 11 postseason games during Miami's 2012 NBA Championship run, and collected 17 points and 10 rebounds.
