Giants' Jameel McClain nails Cardinals QB Drew Stanton on dead play
Cardinals starting quarterback Carson Palmer isn't playing for Arizona in Week 2 because of a shoulder injury. The news almost got worse on Sunday because the Cardinals almost lost their backup quarterback on the the team's first offensive series of the game.
On third-and-17 for the Cardinals, the refs blew the play dead because of a delay of game on Arizona. Apparently, Giants linebacker Jameel McClain didn't hear the whistle though because he did this.
Stanton was slow to get up, but he did stay in the game for a Cardinals drive that ended with a touchdown.
