Eagles Sneak By Colts, 30-27
Nick Foles had a big night passing, leading the way to a close victory for the Eagles against the Colts, 30-27, in Indianapolis.
Foles put together a solid game, going 21 for 37 with 331 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick. On the Colts side, Andrew Luck went 20 for 34 with 172 yards passing, three touchdowns and one pick.
Darren Sproles was a key factor for the Eagles, running all over the Colts for 26 yards on four carries with a touchdown in addition to seven receptions for 152 yards. Zach Ertz caught four passes for 86 yards.
The Philadelphia defense allowed 169 yards rushing and 172 passing.
Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw had a big day with 70 yards rushing, 26 receiving and two touchdowns. Running back Trent Richardson had a good game as well with 79 rushing yards and 16 receiving.
The Eagles will play host to the Redskins (1-1) next week while the Colts head to Jacksonville to face off with the Jaguars (0-2).
