DeMarcus Cousins puts up double-double, Kings nip Spurs

DeMarcus Cousins scored 25 points and added 10 rebounds, his seventh double-double of the season, to lead the Sacramento Kings to a close victory over the San Antonio Spurs, 94-91. Sacramento (6-4) picked up the win after falling to the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday.

Cousins went 10-19 and converted 5-6 from the free throw line. Other top contributors for Sacramento included Darren Collison with 19 points and five assists, and Rudy Gay with 18 points and six assists. Despite the loss, Manu Ginobili put up 21 points off the bench for San Antonio on 7-15 shooting (1-7 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 6-7 from the free throw line. Tony Parker contributed 11 points and six assists.

Coming up, the Kings square off against the New Orleans Pelicans, who are 5-3 on the season. The Spurs match up against the Philadelphia 76ers, currently sitting at 0-9 this year.
