Cowboys backup pass catchers make things happen Week 1

The Cowboys backup pass catchers played a bigger role than expected Week 1 against the 49ers.

Dwayne Harris only received two targets, but made the most of it. He came down with a 56 -yard catch in the third quarter. The pass was nearly intercepted, but the defender jumped too early. Harris also had one rush for 9 yards. 

Cole Beasley wound up being the most consistent of the bunch. He caught four passes for 42 yards. Beasley received five targets. 

Lance Dunbar and Devin Street also played roles. Dunbar caught three balls for 21 yards. He did not have a rush the entire game. Street caught two passes for 18 yards.

The Cowboys will take on the Titans Week 2.
