Chiefs sign Richard Gordon

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed veteran tight end Richard Gordon to a one-year, $645,000 contract.

It includes a split salary and an injury waiver. Gordon signed the deal on Thursday.

Gordon, 26, signed with the Chiefs in December and played in two games.

He was with the Pittsburgh Steelers also last season, but appeared in no games.

Gordon is a former Oakland Raiders sixth-round draft pick and has played in 27 games with four career catches for 14 yards and a touchdown.

He caught one pass for three yards last season.
