Chiefs bring back Zombo, sign Walker

The Kansas City Chiefs are bringing back linebacker Frank Zombo and signed defensive tackle Vance Walker, the organization announced Friday.

Zombo was with the Chiefs in 2013 after spending four seasons with the Packers. He's totaled 76 tackles (58 solo), seven sacks, one interception and three forced fumbles in his career. He appeared in all 16 regular season games a year ago.

Walker spent last season with the Raiders after beginning his career with the Falcons from 2009-2012. He's tallied 119 tackles (82 solo), eight sacks 19 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery during his career. He was a seventh-round pick by Atlanta in 2009.

“We’re pleased that we were able to come to an agreement with both Frank and Vance,” Chiefs general manager John Dorsey said in a statement. “Frank was a key member of our defense and special teams units last season, and we are looking forward to having him back. Vance is a big, physical player that we believe can come in and contribute for us up front.”
