Central Florida RB 'week to week' with injury

Central Florida faces the daunting task of playing at Ohio State on Saturday, and the challenge may have gotten tougher with an injury one of the team's top running backs.

Latavius Murray suffered a bruised shoulder in UCF's 56-14 opening win over Akron. Knights coach George O'Leary listed Murray as week to week but didn't indicate Murray's availability against the Buckeyes, who blew out Miami University 56-10 in their opener.

Murray rushed for 108 yards on 14 carries Thursday against Akron.

A trio of backs that includes senior Brynn Harvey likely would pick up the slack for Murray. Harvey was the team's leading rusher last seson with 574 yards.

Harvey, Storm Johnson and Cedric Thompson combined for 91 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries in the Knights' first game.
