Carson Palmer loses bet, has to wear hilariously awful costume in warmups

The Arizona Cardinals have a competition in practice in which quarterbacks (and sometimes cornerback Patrick Peterson) lob passes into a garbage can. It’s harmless fun, except that it’s not harmless for the loser.

The loser of the bucket toss has to wear some ridiculous outfit picked by the others (you might remember Peterson having to wear a full elf costume last season), and the Cardinals really outdid themselves in sticking it to their starting quarterback on Sunday.

Carson Palmer came out for warmups in a full Stay Puft Marshmallow Man outfit. And I’d say it was straight out of “Ghostbusters,” but it was the most knock-off looking costume you’ll see. If someone came to your door on Halloween wearing this, they’re not getting any candy.

Oh no. If the Cardinals can top that this season, it’ll be pretty impressive.
