Cardinals' Dockett fined for hand stomp

Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Darnell Dockett was fined $7,875 by the NFL on Friday for stomping on the hand of St. Louis Rams guard Chris Williams after a play during last Sunday's game.

With about five minutes left in the third quarter of the Cardinals' 30-10 victory over the Rams, Dockett was pushed by Williams at the end of a play and then stepped on the offensive lineman's hand while he tried to get off the ground.

No one was penalized on the play.

In 13 games this season, the 32-year-old Dockett has 34 tackles, including 4.5 sacks. He is in his 10th year in the NFL, all with the Cardinals.
